Sunlight shadow error

Hi, there

I just noticed the shadow from the sun acts a little bit weird.

Like the snips shown here:

It’s a full piece of wall framing, but the shadow has a bright gap there.

Is there some setting I can adjust to make this look better?

Thank you for reaching out in the community, please know that this issue will be a limitation of the Raster engine. If possible, using the Path Tracer will create the most accurate lighting and shadows. Please see here for our Path Tracer requirements in Twinmotion 2023.1: Hardware and Software Specifications for 2023.1

For Raster rendering, it may be helpful to:

  • When working in the viewport, set Preferences > Quality > Shadows to Ultra(This will most accurately represent the final Raster export)
  • Adjust the sliders/values for "Shadow" and "Shadow Bias" in the Render tab of Ambience or the selected media
  • Place a plane adjacent to the wall to better block light; adjust the size as needed

To add to Morgan's suggestions, I could suggest you to go into the settings of the orange material and turn TWO SIDED on. I'm guessing you are in version 2022. Here is where to find the setting:
