suddenly getting strange renders from movie render queue

Anyone have any thoughts on this issue? Been rendering single frames fine all along, then suddenly I start getting this… I haven’t changed any settings that I know of. It seems to take two passes. The first one looks fine, and then the second is making a huge mess!!

Thanks for any help!

If you have a Sequence that goes from 0 to 100 and you start rendering the frames at 0.
The first frame will always be weird. It seems that it sees it as half -1 and 0. If you start the sequence at 1 or move the time line over 1 frame it will fix that issue.

Sounded so simple, was hoping it would work. Sadly it didn’t. But good to know I’m not the only middle age man on here!

Ok, so my sequencer was simple enough, just moving camera around manually to get some single frames for some concept art, that I decided to jut delete the sequencer and start a new one… It Worked!!!

I’ve had some trouble with the sequencer (in 5.1) doing some wonky stuff before too and had to start a new one. Anyone else having issues where you just have to dump the current sequencer? That could be a real pain if you have some complex camera moves. Unless you can copy a camera to a new sequencer. I’ve not had much luck with that either, but I’m not the brightest bulb when it comes to this stuff! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

You can add a camera to the a new sequence if it is already in a different sequencer by it self. Just go to +Track and add Subsequences Track and link it to the camera sequencer. You also might need to add Actor Sequencer for the camera object itself. Also under the + Track

Good to know. I will try that next time, thanks.
