Suburban roof_s doesn't have collision with bullets, you can shoot through.

Summary

I found out in one of my islands, the ‘Suburban Roof_S’ piece is able to be shot through without damaging it. All other roof pieces in this set work the way it should except for this one. the Greasy Grove island template uses these and that’s how I found the issue. Literally everything couldn’t touch this roof piece, that includes: Bullets, Rockets, Arrows, and other misc weapons.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Search ‘Suburban roof_s’ in the Content Drawer, there should be a normal one and a beach one. They both have this issue.
  • Place it down and shoot at it in your Fortnite session.

Expected Result

There should be projectile collisions or some sort of collision that happens when you shoot at objects, it should damage the object too if it’s just a roof piece.

Observed Result

Bullets, Rockets, Arrows, and every other weapon’s projectiles go through the roof piece.

This is due to them removing the complex collision from the mesh some time ago. “Suburban_Roof_T” also shares the same issue. Note: player collision remains unaffected.

I can confirm this! ‘Suburban_Roof_T’ also has this issue.

The status of FORT-1109065 changed to ‘Needs Triage’. We are routing this to the appropriate team for investigation.

A reminder that this is still happening. So far that I know, it happens on the house roofs of Latte Landing.
