Substrate Frozen Ice in UE 5.6

I created Frozen Ice all using substrate material in UE 5.6 without ever using any physical geometry. Its all rendered in a plane with 4 triangles.

This is really cool, I need to look into substrate. I can see from what you shared how it can be used beyond just normal texturing given its layering system.

Hello @Mridulsrmh !

This is very gorgeous, and I love the textures that we see. Are the cracks part of the texture, or is it part of the geometry? Additionally, are the little orbs made of ice as well?

Hey, the cracks are in the texture itself so normal map and the base color. Orbs themselves are spheres with metallic texture.

hey, this looks amazing is there any chance you could link to the textures you used here, or even post part of the material graph? I assume theres some parallax occlusion mapping for the ground / rocky texture and then a glassy see through with the cracks as a slab on top?
