Submission to Discovery -Contains Material That Appears "Plagiarised" - But have you seen the stuff that makes it to Discovery?

This was for Grave Raider Labyrinth. I submitted it to discovery 2 weeks ago.

I have no idea what they think “Appears” plagiarized. 100% of the assets came from the Unreal Engine Marketplace, other than the audio and I made the music and sounds using Cakewalk and Native Instruments.

Not one part of this game was copied from any other game. I know exactly the game they are talking about and not one pixel, not one puzzle, not one sound came from that game. I have played every version of “That” game, start to finish and none of it is remotely the same.

What we have is someone who has heard of “That” game, and never played it, and thinks it might be a copy.

Or we have someone who has seen these assets, that have probably been used in literally hundreds of Indie games, and is basing their decision off of that. Synty Studios Polygon Dungeons and Polygon Dungeon Realms.

So even though I have just spent the best part of $1000 to develop the more realistic follow up for this game. It’s a nahh from Epic.

Thanks. I will explore that! I have just put so much into this that it is devastating to be told my whole game idea is out.
