Hi! I am new to unreal and would really like my particular project to have the same sort of lighting style as the picture I’ve attached - it’s made by Anya Elvidge, and here’s the youtube link: Game Art Stylised Dioramas UE4; My Design Process and Thoughts - YouTube
She is using unreal engine, and from my experimentation it’s not just her assets and materials that make it look like this - my experience thus far is that Unreal engine very much wants to overexpose things and have really deep shadows, and I’d like things to be much softer and evenly lit like this. I know adjusting the skylight helps, however too much skylight just blows it out. What can I do?
