How do I update UE so it works properly when sending commits? Mine is now getting stuck “updating files for revision control”
The problem is happening if me right now
Currently experiencing this on windows 11 on a razer laptop
100% this issue persists even in today’s builds of UEFN (31.00) – I just had 1 asset change take 6 minutes. which is not an infrequent thing.

you will need to report this new problem.
There is a new reporting system in place, and closed reports cannot be re opened
This suggests that a regression has taken place. Yours is Windows 11, while the original Poster was Windows 10.
You must follow the guidance above and attach your revision controls log file.
and just copy over the title adding [Possible Reggresion] at beginning
