Stretched textures

I am having all the disadvantages of being a newbie in Unreal Engine development

I am watching all the videos on Youtube playlist. So I created a new C++ Third Person project. My first action was to drag some materials on to the grayscale walls in the level. The materials appear stretched. I am sure you know what I mean. Is there an easy way to correct this stretching behaviour? I guess it’s something to do with UVs or something but I am not that advanced yet.

Thanks.

Oh, you’re so lucky. None of the baggage from years of development. You get to start with a fresh mind!

I guess you’re right. But still, I have hundreds of videos to watch and a huge documentation to read. Who has the advantage here?
