Strata (Veins) across multiple objects. (WIP)

Hey forum,

I am trying to create the illusion that multiple meshes are carved out of the same rock face. Is their a way to use a secondary material, perhaps referencing world space to give the rocks a strata (veins), similar to the pic I attached? I would bake it in substance painter but to have it line up convincingly would be quite difficult.

Look at the WorldAlignedTexture material function, it maps a texture to an object based on World-Space coordinates rather than UV’s.
