wow! Sorry missed your message, I tried changing the shadow map method in the project settings from virtual shadow(beta) maps to shadow maps and it cleaned up the shadows, not sure why it is set by default for me but changing it worked that worked. I had no idea that setting existed thanks AndreiBlackFish
oh may have of spoke to soon when I get close to the mesh I get crazy shadows with the regular shadow maps setting on, guess I will keep messing with it seems like the Cast Ray Traced Shadows setting is the only way I can get clean shadows, but sucks I have to set that setting on each light I put in the scene.
lol some how I messed up my project I was testing it out had to start a new one, you were right just the regular shadow map setting dose work, thanks @AndreiBlackFish
