Hello everyone,
I am getting some strange reflections on the body of a car when using ray traced reflections, the artifacts are noticeable at the back of the car, notice that stepping pattern? I’ve tried increasing the number of samples and bounces in the post process volume, but nothing seems to work.
I am using the HDRI backdrop with an 8K hdr image.
I’ve checked the models smoothing groups and everything seems to be fine.
Is this something that is to be expected from ray tracing as it is implemented now?
If anyone has any idea on how to improve the reflections I would appreciate it !
