Ive been working on a scene for a few weeks without problems and then ive suddenly noticed in two areas of my walls in the scene with strange lighting behaviour. As if a bright directional light is casting through walls onto the interior wall.
There is an outside wall which ive checked the normals are correct, and the uvs are all ok. I`ve looked through the scene an no lights are in these areas. Even tried 2 sided lighting on the objects.
Any ideas
Thanks but ive tried lightmaps upto 2048 and production build. Ive recreated them in Maya with various resolution and reimported. Also its not just the walls, its appearing on the floor and the ceiling. Its only in two areas, everywhere else is fine.
Ah, i`ve fixed it. I had a SkySphereBlueprint in the scene with a sun brightness of 75. I put it down to 1 and it fixed it. I put it back up to 75 and it was still ok. Seems like some kind of bug and changing the intensity reset things. I think!!
Ha spoke to soon. It came back again. I`m suspecting its the Skylight now. I turned off Affects World and relit the scene and it went away again. Turned it back on and relit and it was ok. Something weird going on.
