Strange Geometry on asset only after export

Hi guys,
having a very odd issue that I’ve not seen anyone else deal with as I’ve been looking online, I’ve got a RealityCapture project that works absolutely fine in the software, but when exporting to Unreal, C4D and Zbrush the geometry becomes incredibly messy and distorted -

The asset inside RealityCapture looks great textured and untextured, but when exported everything gets warped and the geometry is completely unusable, I’ve tried decimating the mesh to see if that helps and have had no luck with it. If anyone has any ideas what I’ve done wrong please let me know
Thanks

Hello @NorthIy
you can check this tutorial: Tutorial: My Model Looks Great in RealityCapture, but Bad in My 3D Program
Also, is your project georeferenced in some specific coordinate system? If so, has this system have coordinates with big values?
Are you able to open that model in Blender?

Hi @OndrejTrhan I did see that tutorial and have taken a look through, it’s less rough edges and more a complete change in geometry, when looking in realitycapture there are no artefacts or problem sections that I wouldn’t want there so I’m not sure that smoothing it would give me the result I want

here’s a side by side of the same asset in RealityCapture and Blender.
The project is not georeferenced it’s purely photogrammetry
Thanks for the reply

This looks strange.
What are your export settings? To which format are you exporting?

I am exporting as FBX, here’s my export settings

Is this also happening for other formats? How does look the model if you will import it back to RealityCapture?
