Strange effect with material tesselation

Hi all,
I’m new in Unreal Engine. I’m trying to make some materials for using them in my projects. On some of them I would activate the tesselation, in order to achieve a sort of 3D effect, but it seems don’t work correctly.
Attached you can see two screenshot, one (1) with the material properties, and the other (2) with the material applied to a surface. Mi idea was to obtain the vertical stripes raised up respect the rest of surface. But instead I have a sort of strange visual effect, like the surface is blent.
Any suggestion?

Thanx in advance

That’s because there is not enough polygons to create sharp wall like edge, some verts are displaced and some don’t, faces between them are showing up as smooth transition. Also if you want stripes to be displaced “up” use one minus node to invert texture
