Hi,
I loaded up a bunch of sequences in the Movie Render Queue (4.25.4) and hit Render (local) on a big project… Then I realized that I had a problem with my presets, but I couldn’t find a way to cancel the whole queue. I had to wait for each queue item to load, and then close the window as it came up. It seems like the Movie Render Queue needs a “cancel” or a “stop” button.

I just press ESC. Did you try that?
Yes: I wait for a render to start, press “esc”, then I wait for the next render to start and press “esc” again until I get to the end of the queue.
We’re having another problem trying to stop renders: when raytracing and we close the render window, the GPU continues to grind away and UE becomes unresponsive - the cursor lags, and it becomes very hard to select menu items. There really needs to be a way to monitor and close the render queue processes.
This. Does Epic ever bother with these quality of life requests?
I’m having the same issue in 5.2.1 , I tried pressing escape many times and closing the window but it keeps going and re-opens the render window
Anyone find a solution to this? I’m using 5.2.1 and having the same issue!
I am using 5.3 and have the same issue…Neither Esc nor trying to close the MPR window work. I am learning to use UE5, and I find many issues are created by a poor user experience design that makes the learning process extremely and unnecessarily challenging.
I have this issue constantly. what i find works is canceling the job using the escape key.
if that just hangs then do ctrl alt delete, and it seems to kick start UE back into life.
