They are done and have gone through editing without technical issues. We are having our QA team go through the series now to ensure that it can be followed and completed start-to-finish.

Our QA team is also looking at other 4.12 stuff with higher priorities, but this is on the list so I would expect it would be finished before official 4.12 release.

I will link to a blog post when they are up though.

Awesome! Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Very nice to hear

I’d love to see a Steam Game template in New Project tab for both, Blueprint and C++!

That’s great to hear!

I’ve been looking at implementing some multiplayer in a few games and I have the gist of it down. Does the series include parts of the steam API such as voice, VAC, achievements, and more importantly, using steam to check to see if the person bought the game, and allows a sort of “login using steam credentials”?

This is something I’d like to take the series towards, but it is more on getting the foundational stuff in place first. From the BP side of things, there are still hooks that aren’t exposed that you can access via C++ which is something I know the team is working on exposing.

So 4.12 is officially released. Could we please get an update? :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s in QA’s hands and pending approval. They’ve had 4.12 features to QA, this is on their list and they have the series, just awaiting the thumbs up or thumbs down.
