Status of UE-29576 (Disabled Main Pass Shadow Artifacts)

Hey Epic,

I see that the ticket Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (UE-29576) has been resolved as “Won’t Fix” due to an extended period of inactivity.

Any chance this has been fixed in more recent versions of Unreal? The workaround of setting a Dynamic Shadow Distance won’t work for our use case because we need to use a spotlight instead of a directional light. Is there maybe a separate workaround for spotlights?
