Hello, I was wondering what type of lighting is better for lights that will turn on and off on my game, stationary or movable. I have some lights on my level with a light switch that will turn them on and off. I tried using stationary lights and when I turn them off during runtime it won’t get rid of the lightmap it has created after building lighting. I tried movable lights and the lights do turn off correctly. I was wondering if sticking with movable objects is the right choice here? Shouldn’t movable objects be use for lights that move around like a flashlight? Aren’t stationary lights better looking? Do I have to do some tweaks for stationary lights to work? I don’t think movable lights will hinder my performance since my level is really small.
