Stationary lighting overlaps with streaming levels?

Hi,

I have a problem where in a streaming level I get no stationary light overlaps, but when I open the persistent level that it belongs in, the streaming level shows selected lights with X’s. I assumed there were overlapping lights in the persistent level, but the persistent level has no lighting at all. Why would it be okay when looking at the level in isolation, but indicate a problem when viewed from the persistent level? When I turnon the the “stationary light overlap” view, everything is green… so … why the X’s?

Somewhat related - if I built lighting in the sub level, a-ok. If i build lighting in the persistent level, i get lots of bleeding from other hidden streaming levels… erk. So i build them individually in their respective levels, and then ignore lighting rebuild error messages in the persistent level. Is the right workflow?

Perplexed.

Thanks
Stuart

Did you get any more info about this?

Fraid not. I’ve had to stick to building lighting in each streaming level by itself, and ignore all the PIE hud errors in the persistent level.

I have this issue too. How do we file a bug report? Sny ideas how to flag to epic

I also have this problem …
