Static Mesh reimport not working

Static mesh is failing to update when I reimport. I get success notification from editor, and lightmap breaks on asset. But mesh is still old model and source file time stamp is same. How can I troubleshoot this?

Does this occur with every mesh that you reimport, or just one? If just one, would you mind attaching a test asset for us to look over? Thanks!

We haven’t heard from you in a while, so I am marking this post resolved for tracking purposes. Please let us know if you are still experiencing this issue after updating engine to 4.2.1 and can provide a test asset as requested above. Thanks!

I’m having same problem since 4.5 or 4.7 here, for every static mesh.

Reimporting yields nice messages saying it’s imported and… Nope it’s still exactly old mesh.
