Static Mesh loses all detail in apk but is fine in Android preview

TLDR; Why are my meshes low detail in the apk, but perfectly fine in the editor?

Ok, so I’m in the process of taking a project from Unity and putting it into Unreal 5.3 (Unity is being a pain with licenses). The project is mostly going to be PCVR but we also want to be able to have a standalone build that can be put on the VIVE XR Elite. Everything looks fine on the PCVR side of things but when building to an apk for standalone, all of the meshes loose a ton of detail.


All the static meshes have nanite enabled for PCVR. I’ve tried an apk with nanite enabled and with nanite disabled and both resulted in the same, low quality mesh. I’m very confused on why this is happening, especially since everything from this project came imported FBX’s from Unity and the same project built from Unity has no strange effects like this. Maybe it’s a different render pipeline or something, like Vulkan vs OpenGL maybe? (I don’t remember which Unity uses)
