Static Mesh looks Distorted inside Fortnite but Looks Fine in UEFN

Summary

The static mesh I looks fine in UEFN but distorted and deformed inside the Fortnite session.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Convert following sketchfab model from .usdz to .fbx and import it into UEFN: Hotel_[exterior] - Download Free 3D model by Comicaroid (@yuuuusukeeee) [92c4dea] - Sketchfab

  2. Place the mesh i the game world and launch session.

Expected Result

The mesh should look like it looks like inside of UEFN

Observed Result

It looks deformed and distorted.

Additional Notes

I’ve tried the following fixes, and none of them worked:

Reinstalled UEFN and Fortnite.
Tried different graphics settings such as DirectX 11 and 12.
Reduced Number of LODS to just 1 (also tried many other LOD settings)
Enabled streaming (and then turned it back off)
Reimported the Static Mesh.
Freshly Imported as new Filename using the “Import” option instead of “Import All”
Simplified the Mesh of the 3D Model in blender.

Solved: I Turned on Nanite Virtualized Geometry in the graphics settings and then it worked.
