Can you or someone from Epic please comment on this? I find this very problematic, as a points system does not count reliably if you want to operate several such devices at the same time.
(even with the ātrickā of adding a time delay, there are always points that are not counted)
You are correct that Stat Powerup can not transmit simultaneously more often than only once, but you can use Stat Counter Device for this purpose which is working fine for adding points by it more often than once at the same time. I was also using Stat Powerup when these devices were introduced, but when I found out about this issue, I just replaced them with Stat Counters.
Now the thing is that I have set up my points system as a level system, which in turn is also displayed on the HUD - for this I need the stat powerup devices
I have it also like that and have data from Stat Creator visible on the HUD for the player while I am using only Stat Counters and no Stat Powerup. Why you need Stat Powerup for that?
No, you can do that also with Stat Counter Device. You have there these categories with different functions and settings:
Basic, Comparison, Override, Visuals, Requirements, User Options - Functions, User Options - Events, Draw Distance, HLOD, Data Layers
And from these you need to take a look at āOverrideā, because here you can set whatever number to adjust amount of points from the Stat Creator that is connected to that specific Stat Counter via the first dropdown menu in the first category āBasicā. But donāt forget to change a value in its dropdown menu from default āSetā to āAddā, or the player will reset its points when he will trigger it.
To be honest, the naming scheme on these devices here is not good.
