STAT COUNTER DEVICE

Summary

rendering in and out of a counter (set to visible or not) it can trigger the icon to revert back to the default trophy icon that contains a small star within, rendering in and out can fix but also cause the issue occurring, this is a device and should work consistently throughout the map on every occasion, the hud element of a stat displays correctly when applied with no issues, but the counter fails success signals if the correct icon is not loaded up. can we remove the rendering of the icon of the counter, and maybe ensure any compare signals in are comparing the correct stat set and not a revert of a default stat. This is not a new issue but a recurring one. Sometimes they work sometimes they don’t, very inconsistent , I have clips and images if required.

Steps to Reproduce

place a stat counter with a created stat applied from a stat creator , use stat power ups to increase and decrease by signaled pick ups, move in and out of rendering particularly turning your back onto the device. I the custom icons I use are the 3player icon and the trophy icons for visual icons on the stat counters icon, when it bugs out you’ll see the icons change to the trophy with a star within, but wont happen every time, mostly from loading in, but sometimes rendering in and out. The 2 stats I use with issues are both set differently one applies to just player, other to all and counts all together. If I keep the counter closer to players the bug comes and corrects often, when further away , it either works or doesn’t but doesn’t correct itself either due to lack of rendering, it needs to not render, and ensure stat type loads correctly maybe with a secondary failsafe signal, then it would probably remain correct for the rest the game. Some kind of visual bug that only sometimes occurs is impacting it’s performance.

Expected Result

I should get a success signal on every count

Observed Result

it does not always succeed even when the stat is on your hud and correct, and to add , you lose instigator for all failed signals from the device, only success grants instigator.

In the first link i’m in creative mode where i can move around the map easier, that first counter is what counts and compares my contender stat and has not changed in quite a few updates, you can see how the icon switches on rendering, like a failed load of stat type into it, the second clip in the same link is a different stat , counts victory’s of players, uses a trophy icon, but its different to the default trophy with a star, pay attention to the details of the trophy’s, 3rd clip is if I don’t use the selected icon image in the counter , it’s still visibly overlapping the other details. definitely confliction.

link 2 is the first playtest by olilz past 48minutes in, the stat counter was counting correctly and let them into the game (although I had not had the remove stat set correctly at this point it still counted them in and let them play)

link 3 however on the following playtest 28 minutes in, with no changes made to that stat or stat counter since it did not work

It’s hard to get your game to function when the devices work inconsistently. Could we please get this escalated and investigated for a fix.
