Star Wars X-Wing and Tie Fighter have LOTS of issues

Summary

  • The custom UI does not represent the health of the x-wing and tie fighter. The UI on the left with the battery is always at full capacity regardless of the health.

  • When flying an x-wing or tie fighter facing away from a planets surface or towards it, acceleration and deceleration do NOT work. The aircraft accelerates and decelerates fine though when flying horizontally (Looking about the direction where a horizon would be).

  • When flying corners with mouse movement or pressing “s” on keyboard but also holding down “w” to constantly accelerate, the x-wing decelerates during the corner. NOT a feature since flying corners at full speed without holding down “w” does not decalerate the x-wing.
    The Tie fighter does not have that issue in corners and flies at full speed with and without holding down “w”

  • The x-wing and tie fighter CANNOT accelerate or decalerate when flying upside down (facing the horizon but cockpit is facing the ground), but CAN accelerate and decelerate if flying cockpuit facing the sky

  • What exatly is boosting supposed to do? When flying at full speed, boosting does absolutely nothing. Fancy camera shakes etc. happens while boosting, but the aircrafts fly exatcly the same speed as at full acceleration. Spamming boost while full speed or only full speed has no difference.
    Manual acceleration from 0 is not slower than boosting from 0 so what is the point of boosting? There seems to be actual impact implementation missing.

I don’t think it matters but I tested it in the Star Wars team conquest template. But using additionally placed aircraft spawners

Expected Result

Full control of acceleration in tested scenarios. Also, Tie fighter seems to have less issues
