Star Wars Vehicles/Turbolasers fail to damage standard environment props, while Players on foot deal 0 structure damage despite 100% Island Settings

Summary

There is a critical failure in how environmental structure damage is processed by Star Wars themed gameplay assets. Even when global Island Settings are set to allow 100% full structural damage, players on foot, players piloting vehicles (TIE Fighters), and players operating mounted Turbolasers cannot damage any standard environment props.

Oddly, the only environmental asset players can damage are default Fortnite Explosive Barrels. Conversely, Guard Spawner NPCs using identical blaster weapons can destroy the surrounding environment entirely, bypassing the bug restricting the players.

Steps to Reproduce

Open a project in UEFN and place standard environment walls/props (e.g., Imperial Outpost or standard gallery assets).

Drop a default Fortnite Explosive Barrel into the scene.

Configure Island Settings to 100% baseline destruction:

Environment Damage: All

Structure Damage: All

Weapon Destruction: 100%

Place a Turbolaser Device, a TIE Fighter spawner, and grant the player an on-foot blaster weapon (e.g., E-11, DC-15A).

Set up a Guard Spawner Device nearby and equip the Guard AI with an identical blaster weapon.

Launch a live session. Test shooting the walls and the explosive barrel across all player states: on foot, inside the TIE Fighter, and operating the Turbolaser.

Observe the Guard AI attacking the exact same environment assets.

Expected Result

With Weapon Destruction set to 100% and Environment Damage set to All, players (on foot, in vehicles, or in mounted Turbolasers) should be able to cleanly damage and destroy all environment props alongside default explosive objects.

Observed Result

The Player (On Foot / In Vehicles / In Turbolasers): Deals completely flat 0 damage to all structural environment props. However, the player can successfully shoot and explode the Explosive Barrels across all three states.

The Guard AI: Guard NPCs firing the same blasters completely ignore whatever is blocking the player and easily shred the exact same walls.

This completely breaks map progression, cover destruction mechanics, and gameplay pacing in custom Star Wars game modes. Because players can damage explosive barrels but nothing else, the bug is isolated to how player-controlled damage tables interact with static/prop environment geometry when using Star Wars specific blasters and vehicle weapons, while the Guard AI damage channel remains unaffected.
