Star rating not transfered

Summary

Hi, I’ve encountered an issue where the ratings for my products didn’t transfer from the UE Marketplace. This might be my fault, as I changed the product type before the FAB release. Is it possible to transfer the ratings from the UE Marketplace to FAB?

Same issue for me too and I didn’t change product type so it’s unlikely to be the issue.

Reviews and ratings have also disappeared

For some products from UE Marketplace rating has been transfered, but for some of them no.
Also, will the reviews be transfered?

As stated here,

The expected behaviour is to display ratings on the product page if there is 5 or more reviews for the listing.

And I confirm, the ratings for my product have not been transferred (I had exactly five reviews).

Any update, anyone? There is a similar old topic, that was marked as solved (way before the Fab launched). Due to that people read that topic and bump it, so this new one thread just disappears from the scope.

I have contacted Fab support by email with this and got an answer unrelated to the problem. What a shame!

The minimum would be that they remove that unnecessary 5 reviews threshold, i just got an email from a client posting a rating but didnt reflect any changes, that really not an expected behaviour nor did i saw that behaviour from any other platform.

I’m also experiencing the same issue. Half of my assets were already 5 stars on the Unreal Marketplace, but now, only 1 of them has a rating on FAB.

As a seller, I’ve already sent my feedback and concerns about the new review system to Epic Games and I encourage other sellers and clients to do the same.

To share your feedback or report bugs to Epic Games, simply send an email to uemarketplacesupport@epicgames.com and add fabupdate@epicgames.com on cc

The FAB support team is probably on red alert for hot fixes, so it is the best time to share your feedback about the new platform and report any issues you may encounter.

I know you’ve already contacted them for support, but sharing your feedback about dropping the 5 reviews rule is also important. If many sellers do this, we may have a chance to get heard.
