Spotlight with volume fog and color map? Like a projector?

Is there a known method for using a bitmap or media texture to define the color that lights volume fog? I am look to create the effect that a laser projector would create with some atmosphere like this image

A spotlight and volume height fog gets me the lights color within the cone but light functions, IES dpn’t seem to affect the end result.

Any ideas aside from creating a bunch of lights and animating their color?

Light shaft meshes are tried and true. I think there is an example BP in the content examples project.

Looks great, I haven’t looked at the blueprint yet but does it handle a color map?
