I need to emulate a barn door on a spotlight but I can’t find if anyone has done this yet in unreal. I was planning to emulate this in a simple blueprint to emulate the way this works in Arnold (https://docs.arnoldrenderer.com/page…pageId=1081910) by controlling some simple geometry in front of the spotlight … but before I start, does anyone have any advice? Is this the best approach? Can I use existing spotlight settings to achieve the same result without using blueprints? Would IES profiles help me in this regard?
