Campaigns get Declined for reason “5.9 - Sponsored islands must be original, fully playable experiences where the island itself is the primary content delivered to players.”
Even tho no rule is broken
I have created Multiple campaigns for my Island before the Discovery Changes, and I never had any Problems with my Campaigns. Since the New Update dropped, my Campaigns got twice cancelled for the reason “5.9 ponsored islands must be original, fully playable…”
I feel like this is some sort of issue what is heavily affecting me because im not able to create any Campaigns even tho my Island is completly fine and is breaking no rules.
I even updated my Map after the first Sanction, I deleted ALL Matchmaking portals out of my Map, the core experience was always in the Focus of my Map, and I even updated my Map to an Original Thumbnail that is not being filtered by the new system.

Can please any human Moderator check into this?
I feel like this is some bug that could hurt legit creators, I had multiple Campaigns on this Map already and only since the new Discovery changes im getting those Sanctions even tho I even updated my Map to a unique Thumbnail.
I’m having the same issue, a sanction on a sponsored row was created on rule 5.9 . I appealed with details on every point of that rule showing the island is not in violation, and within minutes the appeal was rejected and sanction upheld with no details.
@Flak If this false-positive is confirmed as a widespread issue, what would remediation look like for islands already impacted? e.g. I have a sanction that was already “upheld” so I don’t have clear recourse.
Last week we introduced big changes to Discover to help players discover original experiences, including making our existing content pre-checks more stringent to require a higher level of originality in your island’s thumbnail. You will need to meet the new originality requirements to appear in Sponsored Row.
If you had scheduled a Sponsored Row campaign prior to the change and your island does not meet the new originality requirements, your campaign will be rejected.
There seems to be a different problem here during the check, some games are probably being recognized as empty islands. Unfortunately, no error message is displayed everything seems to be in order, but the campaign is still rejected after 1-2 days, and the exact problem remains unknown. If a thumbnail were not eligible for the sponsor row, this would be visible when updating the map this is not the case here..Could you please check this again feels like there is a bug? @Flak
There is no infotext that its too similiar to other Thumbnails or anything.
So basically there is only two logical consequences why all our Campaigns are automatically being declined
Not the Thumbnail is the problem, but something inside the Map. - For My Case this would not make any sense since My Map is following all Developer Rules, has a own Core experience and has NO matchmaking portals at all that could send Players to any other Maps, and I already had a lot of Campaigns running on this Map sucessfully.
Your Campaign System is broken since the new Discovery changes because: - I had multiple Campaigns on my Map for the past 6 Months, and I never had a single Problem. Exactly since the new Discovery changes dropped im getting Sanctioned. And I have an Updated, Original Thumbnail as you can see in the attached Screenshot.
So its an Issue on your end for sure.
It would be helpful if a Human Moderator on your end could check into this Issue. Multiple people are having the same Problem and we are getting no help at all.

It had a Original Thumbnail when I created the Campaign and it still got sanctioned for Rule 5.9
I believe this rule was intended for creators who publish empty islands with no real gameplay—just a single room filled with matchmaking portals that link to other islands, and then place those maps in sponsor without ever paying for them.
In my case, my map features original gameplay and does not link to any other islands. However, I’m still receiving this rejection and sanction on both of my maps.
It does not have anything to do with the thumbnail as im not getting the similarity flag when publishing a new release
Hey could you check again this system because i think it flags wrong islands. My map has a unique image and it does not get flagged when i publish a new version. But my map still gets rejected for campaign. Could you atleast give more details on what is the problem exactly?
