Speedtree asset not baking with lightmass

Hi there. I have a speedtree for UE asset imported into the free lightroom project.

The asset has a good second set of UV’s for lightmass, and is set to static, but it doesn’t bake. Lighting consists of a directional and many spotlights, most set to static

I can’t find any obvious settings to change. Any hints?

Is the speedtree object dynamic? It might be dynamic by default so that it can animate with the wind.

The trees do animate. I presumed that setting them to static would still bake lighting though.

Do I have to remove the animation to bake on an actor?
