Specific Area Lightmaps Build

Hi guys!

Is there a possibility to rebuild lightmaps only partly. For example a volume that would mark the wished area to render?

If not do you plan anything like that to be build? This would much fasten final editing without the need to rebuild whole lightmaps again.

There is currently no feature like that. They’ve been looking into it but it’s kind of complicated because without calculating lighting it doesn’t necessarily know what objects or lights can affect an area.

I dont exactly understand how the system works, it would be nice to be able to chose an asset to be re-rendred without the need of rendering the whole scene again though. Thanks for reply!
