Tested in playtest mode with 2 players (not live yet):
I have 10 rounds, Teams FFA, team size: split evenly.
Win condition is score. The last one standing is tracked with a player device and completed with an end game device.
Spectator mode just is not working properly, and neither are self eliminations (storm damage/falling damage).
After last spawn: go to spectating. Allow spectating other teams: allowed. Island settings round end condition: time limit.
I tried to set Class Designer, then I tried island settings, and I tried team settings spawn limit 1.
They all end the whole game completely after an elimination and ignored the other 9 rounds.
Or spawn limit 1 only works when “last man standing” is checked? But there is nothing to be found about that in the documentation.
Another interesting detail (before the end round device kicks in)
When the last player dies. It starts spectating the first player, which shows the three button end game screenshot…
So then both players are “stuck”. The first player cannot do anything and the second player is spectating the first player with those three buttons in the screenshot.
But the round should have ended and restarted.

Observed Result
The game ended for the eliminated players and he cannot play in the other 9 rounds.
@Lindax1 I would reccomend not using the “Battle Royale” or “Custom” Post-Game type both on island settings AND on the “END Device” as they finish the game instead of the round. Try switching it back to “CLASSIC” and let me know if that fixes it
Thank you for reply. I tried all those modes, nothing worked after trying to debug it for 40 hours. In the end, I spend 10 hours rebuilding it all to spawn limit infinite. Then sending the eliminated players to another location on the map. Then got a bug where players eliminated by the storm started to respawn instead of moving to that location. Somehow spawn eliminations (advanced storm) do not register. Had to build in a custom damage zone if they suddenly respawn. And I have the whole thing working now.
I will try to test more options in an empty map to see if I can get it to work in the future with your suggestion. But after 80 debug sessions, I’m happy with this plan B.
I will let you know if the classic settings worked!
@Mineblo I was very curious so tested it, and YES this was the fix. Custom post game settings seem to have fixed the spawn limit 1 issue. It also seems to have fixed the storm bug. I wish I knew this a week ago. Thank you very much for your help!
The only thing that still does not work is when a second player gets eliminated by the storm. It does not register in the player counter and the came continues on with the last player. It also does not count as a self elimination. Any ideas on that one maybe?
Yeah that is how i set it up in the first place. I almost have everything working now, with an elaborate workaround. I just need to fix one little thing.
Somehow people dying in the storm are not registered as “eliminated” its weird.
