Somewhere far Beyond

Hi, this is my last study in UE5.3, “Somewhere far Beyond”

I used Megascans, Kitbash and Easyfog. The landscape is sculpted in Unreal. The vegetation is done with landscape material and random generation.

Hi there @FabioGC,

Hope you’re well!

This environment looks exactly how I want a survival game to feel. Vast, beautiful, and filled with life. The farms, the village, and the towers create this immersive feeling that captured my attention immediately. How long did you work on this?

Hi @PresumptivePanda

I’m doing good, what about you?

I’d say about two to three weeks of work. if it’d be in an 8h working process, condensing the work. In the long run, since I opened the file for the first time to the last, maybe 4 months. I like to take my time when I’m doing a study scene, learn and try new things, from materials to lighting and technical settings. My scenes always end up with at least three lighting choices, for example, this one in particular had five.

Hey there @FabioGC ! Welcome back to posting on the forums with us!

The landscapes you’re showcasing here is so beautiful! I love the way that the lighting fits the land and it reminds me of some Red Dead Redemption 2 scenes. I was curious if the tower structure on the rocks was one you created because I absolutely adore the design of it. Very sleek but looks sturdy.

Hi @The_M0ss_Man
Thank you very much. The constructions are from a Kitbash pack called Gaea, it has super cool models, very elven looking like in my opinion.

The time spent definitely shows. Especially with all those individual light pieces. Truly terrific work.

Hey there @FabioGC !

Thanks for letting me know! I do agree that they look rather elven and I was amazed by the building as it offers a lot of possibilities to think on with how it is structured.
