Unreal Editor for Fortnite
What Type of Bug are you experiencing?
World Building
Summary
If a static mesh is inside of a “Blueprint” it will not follow correct collisions if inside of most fortnite Vehicles.
I have been trying to fix this for days now but am now realising other people have the same issue on their maps that they didn’t have before.
This simple bug is completely stopping me from being able to release my map.
Right Mesh is a normal Static Mesh
Left mesh is a Blueprint of the same mesh.
Steps to Reproduce
- Place any static mesh inside of a Blueprint Prop Class
- Get a Driftboard Spawner (Any Vehicle Spawner? I think)
- Drive into the Actor at a decently fast pace and you will go straight through it.
Expected Result
Vehicles will go straight through any blueprinted actor although your character will not.
Very strange.
Observed Result
Example^
The asset on the right is a normal Static Mesh
The asset on the left is a Blueprinted Static mesh.
