Teams are set to “free-for-all” in the island settings and are not overridden anywhere in game.
This worked fine before v26.00, but since the update, players who join the game and spawn in on the next round are being assigned to teams, rather than free-for-all.
This causes multiple issues, such as being able to see the player at all times (outline and name through walls, etc) and being unable to eliminate each other.
Steps to Reproduce
Set teams to “free-for-all” in the island settings.
Set respawn limit to 1, set join in progress to “spawn next round”.
Start a game, have others join in progress.
Expected Result
Players should have no teammates and not be assigned to the same teams, as this is a free-for-all.
Observed Result
Players are being assigned to the same teams, becoming teammates who can see each other at all times and unable to eliminate each other.
I had this on a ffa map i was making. It was 16 players ffa set as Free For All in island settings and random people were going down but not out even tho its a ffa and that was not enabled and someone joined someone else for a period of time until eliminated so weird in the end i setup the game as 16 teams from 2-17 and assigned a player per team and team 1 was jip/initial spawn lobby team this fixed it for me but that ffa setting is deff bugged
Oh i had this 2 weeks ago
Also bug report person test by having about 8 people in the lobby and launch the game if a few people stray behind due to connection and they happen to join after the initial game has started this is when i seen it the most
