Some of my textures wont convert to Virtual Textures

I’ve started converting all of my textures to virtual textures, but some of them refuse to convert. I can’t identify any reason for this issue, and I don’t receive any error messages.

I’ve tried right-clicking and selecting “Convert to Virtual Texture” with no success:

I’ve also tried enabling “Virtual Texture Streaming” within the texture settings directly, but still no luck:

The setting simply won’t enable. I’ve attempted changing the image format from JPG to PNG, but that didn’t resolve the issue either.

Is there a specific setting or step that I might be missing for these textures? About 10% of my textures refuse to convert. I’d greatly appreciate any assistance.

Epic has a filter to prevent textures under 1k of converting to virtual textures, you’ll have to specify you want those too when converting with the drop down in the pop-up, or you can simply click the tick box in each one.

Thanks for the reply. As mentioned above, I tried clicking the tick-box in each texture but that doesnt work either. It seems to not even register when i click the tick box (for some of those specific textures). It’s really odd.

I had the same issue with Textures that were not Power of Two. You first need to right click “Texture Source Resize to Power of Two” and then you can convert it to a Virtual Texture.
