Steps to Reproduce
Attempt to join a specific Creative/UEFN island through its island code or matchmaking.
The game begins loading into the island.
The loading screen gets stuck or loops for an extended period.
Instead of entering the island, the player is returned to the lobby.
This issue can be reproduced consistently on certain maps and affects multiple players (see attached clip).
Expected Result
Players should be able to successfully join the island and load into the match without interruptions or being returned to the lobby.
Observed Result
In certain islands, players are unable to enter the match. The game gets stuck on the loading screen and then sends the player back to the lobby.
This appears to affect multiple users, as shown in the attached clip.

Some islands appear to restrict access to players through internal systems that may function as a form of “blacklist,” preventing certain users from joining and causing them to get stuck on the loading screen before being returned to the lobby.
If this is intentional, it may conflict with Epic Games Island Creator Rules, specifically rule 1.9 “Play by the Rules,” which prohibits manipulating matchmaking behavior, misleading players, or interfering with the normal ability for users to access and play an island experience.
This behavior results in certain players being unable to enter the island at all, which may not be intended functionality within Creative/UEFN matchmaking systems.
Hello, I want to say that every time I join a session, I get permanently blacklisted. This has been going on for 2 to 3 months. Here are some video clips showing that I can’t join the map, and also a live clip showing that I’ve been permanently blacklisted. THANKS EPIC GAMES. @Flak
I think it’s important to provide proper context here, because the way this situation is currently being presented is extremely misleading.
The people behind these reports are the very same individuals who have been actively involved in organized attacks and disruptions targeting multiple Fortnite maps for weeks. Several creators have experienced massive attacks aimed at destabilizing their servers and intentionally harming the gameplay experience.
In response, some developers implemented protection systems to reduce the impact of these attacks and keep their maps stable. In some cases, this includes automatically sending suspicious or malicious players back to the lobby when abnormal behavior is detected.
The issue is that the same people responsible for these disruptions are now using those protection systems as an excuse to report the very creators they targeted in the first place.
In other words, they intentionally create the problem, push developers into defending their servers, and then attempt to weaponize that response against them through public reports. That is completely dishonest and manipulative.
The developers involved were never trying to harm legitimate players. They were simply attempting to protect their work and their communities from repeated and coordinated abuse.
I sincerely hope the full context is taken into consideration before any action is taken, because it would be extremely unfair for creators to be punished for defending their maps against organized attacks.
