[SOLVED] Server crushes ... File 'aqProf.dll' does not exist...File 'VtuneApi.dll' does not exist

After i could`nt get a server package running i decided to make a very simple Game., following this instructions:

In Visual Studio i get no errors while building. I updated Visual Studio 2017. I updated C++ 64bit for it.

Even with this…it crashes. When i run with " *Server.exe -log" it displays some red lines, but than the window closes, so that i can`t say what was written.

Please help, i stuck here for days.

Did you use the Project Launcher to build the dedicated server or did you just build the exe using visual studio? Because your logs say a whole lot of core assets are missing, which means you probably didn’t cook the dedicated server assets.

Thank you for your answer! You`re right, something is wrong …so i tried again.

i builded Unreal from source, than i made a new Project wit c++ classes, than i closed visual studio (unreal editor didn`t opened). .
than i switched uproject to build version. Visual studiofiles where generated than.
than i opened the project in visual studio. Build with Developement Editor, than with Server Editor.
In Binaries-Folder the *Server.exe apeared.
I packaged the app in unreal and copied the *.exe in the Binaries-folder.
i started the server.exe with -log.

Now i Packaged Program again (Unreal source code build…with launcher i choosed my Project) …and get this error in Log-Window (in Editor):

After this i thried to Compile out of the Editor and get this:

Soooo…i switched uproject to source code build ue4. i generated visual studio files. Opened in Visual Studio .

Somehow my C++ Files where gone… so tried to created a c++ but failed:

After hours i got my c++ Classes back. I was able to rebuild in Visual studio . As before i build in Development and Server-Mode. The *Server.exe crashes…crash-log-file is the same.
Now i`ll package in the Engine…

For what is the *Server.exe ? That i build in Visual Studio? Do i really need it?

So…now i tried to package in teh Engine.

i want to make a simple Program, that connects into a server Level.

What can i do?

I Chaged DefaultEngine.ini and set DefaultPlatformService=NULL…the Warning disapeared…but the Error stays UnknownCookFailure:

I deleted all i did not needed. I moved Folders. And i followed this instruction:

I could package the Project and it runs (see picture).

But now i need the server running.
I will now switch version create project and build in unreal the *Server.exe
Again… i have no success…
what do i wrong? In the Pictures you can see all the Files.
I tried both location.
First i copied the *server.exe to the *.exe.
Than i copied the *.exe to the *server.exe

i checked the used Ports with: netstat -ab -p UDP
7777 is free
server crashes…The log-File under saved is the Log-output from the unreal engine , and does not show whats going on, when the window opens with -log
is there a way to look what happened?

So…at the end the crashing dont have to do with the missing dlls in the headlinei forgot to build UE4Server.exe
the log-file is the same at the beginning…missing dlls
But it lead me to clean the Project , add the c++ Files and Package the Game exactly.

Now i`m building it and i hope after that than the <Game>Server.exe is stabil.

I had this same issue. I solved it by compiling all my recently changed blueprints.
