Hi the minimum specification for graphic cards with Unreal Engine 5.3 (UEFN ) is
- Video cards must be NVIDIA RTX-2000 series and higher, or AMD RX-6000 series and higher
listed in Hardware and Software Specifications for Unreal Engine | Unreal Engine 5.0 Documentation
Hi, it’s specifically for Lumen. And did not resolve the problem, the engine runs well but crashes 3 times out of 5. If is a really low configuration for my driver, it should not allow me to run the software or to work as well as it can. It’s too random without a proper error, and I’m not sure it’s because of my GPU, it did that too to other UE5 projects without lumen enabled. I’m not sure it’s the right solution…
I had the same problem and solved it.
- The crashing issue after GPU memory reaches 100% occurs in Windows 11 version 23h2.
- Format your system and install Windows 10 version 22h2, then stop Windows updates.
- Afterwards, there were no more GPU crash symptoms.
