Soft Alpha-Map in Material

Hey Guys,

whats a good method to get soft alpha results and still get a normal shading in the material ?
I’ve made a few test but either, the alpha-map is sharp (eventhough the source-map is soft)
or the shading of the material is off and translucent. Do you guys have an idea to work around this issue ?
