Sockets and Matinee

I’m trying to make a large-scale particle effect that requires some animated bodies contributing to it. Now I’m stumped here, and I need some suggestions on workarounds or perhaps a good way to approach this particular problem. Essentially the issue I’m having is that I’m wondering if it’s possible to socket and attach a mesh or particle effect to a socket, and at a certain point in time in matinee when the skeletal mesh finishes animating, the particle effect or mesh detaches and the skeletal mesh it used to be attached to disappears from the scene. How would I approach this? Is there something simple like a toggle in matinee, tick of the box in settings somewhere or is there a blueprint workaround? Thanks for your time, guys.
