Sniper Scope using postprocess material

I’m trying to create sniper scope effect with distortion using postprocess material. I’ve read this great article (for UDK) here UDK | DevelopmentKitGemsHUDDistortion
And I have two problems with the material there:

  • Scope is not aligned on the center of the screen,
  • I can’t use black color for it. It won’t render - other colors will work without a problem (blue, orange etc) but black will have 100% opacity,

Anyone who knows materials / post process can help me out? The link provided to UDK is really simple to recreate in UE4 and it’s working but with these 2 issues.
