small chunks to cause damage to actors

I have a destructible mesh, with radius force applied to it in its blueprint. so when the mesh spawns, it fractures, and pieces fly everywhere. the pieces are very small by the way. i think i set them to 0.1 at the scale parameters.

next up, i want these small chunks to interact with the enviroment. for example. i set up a target range. i shoot at a steel target. the projectile hits the steel target, the projectile fractures on impact. then i want these chunks that fly everywhere to be able to do damage to actors nearby. like a rocket launcher, or like the flak cannon in unreal tournament. impact, boom. does initial damage on the first target. and then the chunks do sort of a “splash” damage. i can do this sort of with radial damage, but this lacks detail. ideally i want the chunks specifically to act as projectiles.

any help would be appreciated greatly.
