I’ve starting to experiment with using the Skysphere. For now I’ve just put some HDRI’s into my test scene. But I notice they get quite washed out by the Sky Atmosphere.
I can mess with contrast etc. of the HDRI all I want but the Sky Atmosphere renders over the top of it.
How are these meant to be used together? Are we just not intended to use Sky Atmosphere with a Skysphere? Disabling Sky Atmosphere makes the lighting look terrible.
The one workaround of sorts I did find is that you can turn down the “Aerial Perspective View Distance Scale” which will unmask the Skysphere without having to disable the Sky Atmosphere, but you lose all the nice foggy light scattering if you do, leaving things looking sterile.
