Skylight Radiosity

Hi
I am working on setting up lighting for an Arch Viz model, only for learning purpose. However, I have noticed a spike in Skylight Radiosity time. It is taking 22 mins in “Preview” Quality lighting build, message from the log is “Radiosity Iterations 1361.2s with 397.8Mb of cached data”. Also i dont understand why it calculates “Skylight Radiosity” when i don not have a sky light in the scene. I have read some documentations, but could not found anything. If anyone could explain the process and help me optimize this, that would be great.

Cheers!!

I have a guess, the environment color in the lightmass settings might count towards the Skylight Radiosity time.

Hi ZacD
Thanks for the suggestion.
Environment color is Black (Default). I am not sure what “Environment Intensity” does. As per my knowledge it should not be taken into account if Environment color is black.
Cheers

try this
World Settings->Lightmass->Lightmass Settings->Num Sky Lighting Bounces = 0
