Skylight Mobility and baking

Some confusion over light mobility settings BEFORE doing a precomputed bake.

I recall reading that if you have Volumetric Fog enabled in your scene you can improve performance by setting your light’s mobility setting to Static BEFORE you bake, and then switching to Stationary so they will contribute to your Volumetric Fog. In my case an interior scene with many SpotLights.

Does this apply to your Skylight as well? Should it be set to Static BEFORE your light bake or does it matter?
