Skylight Causing Unwanted Lighting

I can’t figure out how to control the light on the bottom of my car tires. My scene has a LightSource and a SkyLight. I believe it’s the SkyLight responsible for this light. I do need a skylight so that I render reflections.

I’ve tried adjusting light parameters within the skylight such as Indirect Lighting Intensity, Volumetric Scattering, AO Occlusion Exponent… with no effect.

Any clue how I can control this unnatural looking lighting coming off the tire bottom? Thanks!

Hi!

Maybe you can check your Lower Hemisphere (is Solid Color settings)… set it to a dark color…
Also could be reflection…
…or if static lighting problem with lightmaps…

I experimented with the Lower Hemisphere but it really eliminated too much of the reflections that I want. Thanks for the suggestion though.
