I’d like to share an older project I created some time last year.
I set out to create a scene from Skyfall where Bond visits Skyfall Lodge with the beautiful Aston Martin DB5.
This wasn’t meant to be a 1:1 re-creation, but more of a scene reconstruction. I am a huge fan of Roger Deakins so wanted to pay homage to his incredible cinematography.
It’s projects like these that always leaves me a bit awe-struck. Where, seemingly, every aspect of an environment is immaculate. From the ambient weather element to the scaling of the world to the incredibly detailed bricks on the lodge - it all comes together in a fabulously high-quality way. In a word, it’s breathtaking!
Thanks for sharing and I hope to see more of your work!
Wow, thank you for the kind words @PresumptivePanda, I really appreciate that! I’m glad you like it. These types of projects really help one understand the different aspects of creating a CG scene better, I have a few more ideas in mind that I’d like to explore
