Skydive volume bugged

Summary

Ever since the latest update, the skydive force-push behavior was changed, causing major issues in maps like mine where players no longer receive enough directional push when entering the volume, preventing them from reaching the intended upper or lower areas. This is game for maps that uses the volume to reach an area.

Steps to Reproduce

Place down a skydive volume and set the push force to 1.2 for example.

Expected Result

Should push the player once they are in the volume in the set value

Observed Result

The push force is weaker than expected, so players can’t get where they’re supposed to.

I want to add that it actually pushes the player down when using the skydive volume instead of pushing the player up

same problem, after the update in my map, players can’'t exit the skydive. It seems that the only way out is to open and close the glider

I’m having the same issue in my map, skydive volume devices are behaving weirdly

Same problem. Skydive wont launch player up and will hold him in one place until player opens glider

Can confirm these are broken. Some notable bugs:

  • Teleporting into the volume I typically get stuck (Whether I’m stuck at the edge of the volume, I’m not sure, may be in the interior)
  • I accelerate like crazy if I fall into the volume, it used to be a linear push

Can confirm, this is a very critical issue for my game as well.

Can confirm, tested on a published and unpublished map, in both the skydive volume is broken.

Its fixed after latest update

FORT-1025709 is ‘Closed’ as ‘Fixed’. The issue will be addressed in 39.00.
